Assertive communication is necessary for the organizational environment, as it directly influences work relationships, decision making, and conflict resolution. This article explains how assertiveness can improve the overall performance of organizations by instilling trust, collaboration, and effectiveness among employees. This desk study uses qualitative and theoretical sources to examine the relevance of assertive communication in the organizational context. It analyzes theories such as Bakker & Demerouti's job demands and resources theory, Argyris & Schön's organizational learning model, and Schein's organizational culture approach. Previous studies investigating the impact of assertiveness on work dynamics were examined. It was identified that assertiveness improves the organizational climate, decreases stress, and facilitates decision making. In addition, it creates a more collaborative work environment, which positively impacts employee performance and satisfaction. The findings confirm that such communication can increase productivity and cohesion in the work environment.
